  • English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) for adults whose first language is not English.
  • Adult Basic Education (ABE) to help adults with reading, writing and math at a basic level.
  • GED to help adults prepare to take the General Educational Development (GED) exam.
  • Citizenship classes to help prepare legal permanent residents for the citizenship interview.
  • Computer classes are available to students enrolled in the above classes.
  • Vocational and General Counseling is available to students enrolled in above classes.
  • Volunteer Tutors are matched with ALP students one-to-one as well as in small groups. If you would like to meet people from all over the world and help adults learn English, improve their reading and writing and math skills, and prepare for the GED exam, please call us for more information. We are recruiting volunteer tutors now to supplement classroom instruction.
