Catholic Charities El Centro del Cardenal
Located in Boston’s South End, El Centro del Cardenal is the city’s oldest Latino agency, founded in 1957 by the late Richard Cardinal Cushing. Its goal is to improve the human, social and economic conditions of individuals in the community through advocacy, education, and supportive services. Each year nearly 17,000 people received services from El Centro del Cardenal in one of three areas – youth education, adult education, and human services.
