Add a toolbar button to the Office Shortcut Bar

Right-click the background of any toolbar on the Office Shortcut Bar,
and then click Customize on the shortcut menu.

Click the Buttons tab.

In the Toolbar box, click the name of the toolbar you want to add a button to.

In the Show these files as buttons box, click the button or space you want to add the new toolbar button in front of. If the check box next to a button isn't selected, that button is not shown on the current toolbar.

To add a button for a file, click Add File. To add a button for a folder, click Add Folder.

Tip To quickly add a toolbar button, drag the file or folder from My Computer or Windows Explorer onto the toolbar on the Office Shortcut Bar.

 

Delete a toolbar button from the Office Shortcut Bar

If you delete a toolbar button from a toolbar that was created from an existing folder, the file or folder the button refers to is also deleted. If you think you'll need the toolbar button or the folder, file, or shortcut it refers to again, hide it rather than remove it.

Right-click the background of any toolbar on the Office Shortcut Bar, and then click Customize on the shortcut menu.

Click the Buttons tab.

In the Toolbar box, click the name of the toolbar that contains the button you want to delete.

In the Show these files as buttons box, click the button you want to delete, and then click Delete.
