Opening and Saving Your Work
This is one of the most elementary, yet
important skills that
you learn while using a Computer. Using a Open Save Dialog
Box can be tricky and confusing but once understood is a
powerful organizing tool. This is a New Office Document
Dialog Box.

Here you tell MS Office the type of Office document you want to start. If you almost always use
MS Word then this step is a waste of time.
The faster way is to go directly to new MS Word document, launch the MS Word application directly.
The dialog box above, though does give you
access to templates
and wizards that you may find helpful. I find them sometimes to be a
waste
of time as you end up having to undo things that the wizard
creates.
